Jana Kramer is a country singer, songwriter and actor who rose to stardom on the television screen when she was chosen to play Alex in One Tree Hill for the final three seasons. The series featured her first release as a country artist, propelling her 2012 debut album to the Billboard 200 to the Top 20. Thirty One from 2015 reached number ten. Her decade culminated with performances for Dancing with the Stars. Voices, a self-doubting album was released in 2021. Jana Rae Kramer is a Michigan native who was raised by country music. While she was pursuing a recording and acting career but her first screen appearance was in the horror independent film Dead/Undead (2002) while still at high school. NBC Friday Night Lights, second season 2007-2008. After several guest roles for All My Children (including CSI: NY), she got a part on the show as Noelle Davenport. Kramer then appeared in the role of Portia ranson on 90210 from 2008 until 2009 and Brooke Manning in Entourage in the year 2009. Kramer joined the cast of CW One Tree Hill in 2009 in the role of Alex Dupre, and she stayed up until the end of the show in 2012, which was half way through. Jana Kramer Kramer was a star of One Tree Hill from 2009 until 2012. She had signed an agreement to sign an agreement with Elektra Records, and she released her modern country-inspired tune I Won't give Up in the One Tree Hill 2011 episode. This track appeared later on her debut album in mid 2012. The track was a part of into the Top Five on the Billboard Top Country Albums Chart. She continued acting in films such as Heart of the Country 2013 or Country Crush 2016 which would attract her followers. The album was released in October 2015. Kramer dropped her debut album thirty One with Warner Music Nashville. I Got the Boy - an album that was a Top Five Country hit - and Steven Tyler, Aerosmith's lead singer in a duet helped the album reach the top 10 of the Billboard 200. Beginning in September 2016 her two month stint on 23rd episode of Dancing with the Stars ended with her finishing fourth. She also scored an adult contemporary smash by singing the track Feels Like Christmas, featuring Straight No Chaser.
